Pick a favorite film and character (can be more than one character if you wish), and then analyze, discuss and / or review how their costume(s) define them, in relation to plot and the world of their film.
There's been many Dracula inspired vampire films made over the years, too many for the scope of this essay. Instead I'll focus on those that attempted to stay closer to Bram Stoker's 1897 novel.
Wanted to add two more compelling Draculas as portrayed by the wonderful Jeremy Brett and Raul Julia. Both men were handsome, extremely talented and charismatic, with gorgeous voices. They starred in the stage play and I wish I could have seen their performances. Costume wise, they wore elegant Victorian era evening attire, with dramatic flared collars on their capes.
