My series is set in a non-canonical alternate universe. For plot purposes, I've revised the depiction of von Franz. While still embodied by the amazing Willem Dafoe, my version of the character is now younger, in his thirties.

Professor Albin Eberhart von Franz has spent years researching strange esoteric mysteries and the paranormal. But in Ellen Hutter, a young woman rumored to be mad, he encounters the greatest mystery of all. The troubled Ellen is drawn to von Franz, a rational man of conscience, who nevertheless embraces the irrationality of the supernatural. Only he believes in her.

United by a deep and enigmatic bond, the two join forces to defeat the ancient menace that threatens the city of Wisborg and all they hold dear.
